Faith and Salvation

Heyyy guys! You can probably tell from the title that today’s post is going to be about faith and salvation. Duh. 😜 Anywayyyy lets begin.

What is faith anyway? Well I’ve got a handy dandy definition right here!

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” -Hebrews 11:1.

An easier way of putting this is believing in something in which you cannot see, or there is not a lot of proof proving that it is real. Sometimes you might here Christianity be called a “faith” instead of a “religion”. Some people may find this confusing but I’ll go ahead and tell you why. You see, a religion is a belief system that more often than not requires its followers to constantly do good works, perform special ceremonies, etc. The people have to do these works because they believe that they are saved by works. Sounds tiring, doesn’t it? But not Christianity. They only thing a person has to do to get saved is accepting Jesus into their hearts and believing that He died for their sins.

“For God so loved that world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” -John 3:16

Isn’t that amazing!!! We don’t have to try to prove our worth to God, because He loves us so much already! He even loves the worst people in the world, the people who nobody else could possibly love! And guess what. HE LOVES YOU! So this is why Christianity is called a faith. Because we believe that Jesus loves us and died for us, and we get saved. When true believers die, we go to heaven. And guess what’s in heaven?! NO PAIN, NO TEARS, ONLY HAPPINESS AND JESUS!!! Amazing right?!?!?!

So guys that’s all I have for you today. I hoped you liked it! And remember, God loves you so so much, no matter who you are or what you’ve done! Comment down what you thought, and if you have questions feel free to comment them too!

Byeeeee! Xoxoxoxo
