Things to do in Summer When you are Bored

Heyyy guys! It’s Hannah! How’s it going, what’s crakalakin? Hehe. So today’s post is going to be a list of things for you to do when you are absolutely bored in the summertime. Trust me. I’ve been there, done that. Almost every day :p. So without further ado, let’s get started.

1. READDDDDD

For all you bookworms out there, you should have no trouble with this one. Every time I’m bored, I always pick up a book and I always find myself not bored afterwards.

2. FIX UP A PIECE OF OLD FURNITURE

You can honestly go to any second hand store like Goodwill or the Salvation Army and find an old beat up piece of furniture. Me and my sister have been working on a bookshelf, and after a few more steps, it should be good as new.

3. TRY A NEW SUMMER RECIPE

Whether that be popsicles, or chocolate covered fruit, making new things to eat is always fun. Plus, I mean, need I say more? FOOOOOD!

4. GO ON A WALK

Go out alone or with some friends on a walk. Clear your mind, and take a chance to enjoy God’s beautiful creation!

5. TRY OUT A NEW HOBBY

Try something new! Learn to play an instrument, experiment with advanced chemistry, anything! Try learning a new language even!

6. ORGANIZE

I don’t know about you, but I actually really love cleaning and organizing. It’s very therapeutic.

7. START A BLOG

Honestly when I started this blog, I just wanted something to stop my boredom. And it has! I love blogging! I just think it’s so fun to just write about what you love, and it’s really put me out of my comfort zone too.

8. HAVE A DANCE PARTY

There’s nothing I love more than turning on some jams and just dancing like nobody’s watching. It’s so fun, plus it’s like a mini workout!

9. GO TO THE BEACH/POOL

It’s always fun to go for a swim. Even if it’s just for 10 min. (Me 😂)

10. Read the Bible

Maybe God’s trying to speak to you. Even if you aren’t a Christian, pick up a Bible and see what happens. I challenge you to read the Bible for at least 10 minutes, and then ponder on what you read. You never know what could happen… 😉

Alright peeps! That’s all I have for you today! Comment down below what you thought, and I’ll talk to you laterrrr!

Byeeeeee! Xoxoxoxo
