What’s the Real Meaning of Christmas?

Currently cuddling with my dog right now guys… but that’s beside the point. Hi everyone! It’s meeee again and I’m back with another post. If you couldn’t tell from the title, I’m gonna be talking about the true meaning of Christmas!

When many people think of Christmas, the first thing that pops into their heads are presents, Christmas songs, decorations, etc. And please don’t get me wrong guys. There is nothing wrong with any of that, heck even I think of those things when I hear the word Christmas. And while there are aspects of those in Christmas, it’s not what the season is really about.

Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus.

“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke‬ ‭2:8-14‬

And that’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown. During the Christmas season, people often lose sight of why we celebrate. It’s not about the presents or the decorations, rather it’s about the little baby that was born 2000 years ago who saved us all of our sins, and allowed us to have a personal relationship with God! And that little baby was called Jesus.

That’s why we celebrate Christmas.

That’s all I have today guys! I hope this post inspired you and reminded you of the true meaning of Christmas. Until next time…

Byeeee! Xoxoxoxo
