A Poem for a Rainy Day

It has been pretty rainy lately where I live and it inspired me to write a poem. So here it is!

Another Wave of Rain by Hannah

And so another wave of rain has come

On this stormy April day

To water plants and fill the rivers

That have since been left for May

 

The water forms its puddles

Far and wide you see

For little boys and girls

To come and play with glee.

 

We know it will pass soon

And shine tomorrow morn,

But for now let’s just enjoy

The gray and sober stain

Of another wave of rain.
